UTILIZATION OF MODIFIED PLASTIC WASTE ON THE POROUS CONCRETE BLOCK CONTAINING FINE AGGREGATE

Modification of plastic waste to be use as a replacement coarse aggregate on the manufacturing porous concrete block is presented in this paper. Different proportions sand content were used with percentage 1%, 5% and 10% by total weight sample investigate its effects performance blocks based some conducted tests i.e., compression flexural load resistance, porosity, infiltration rate tests. The results show that addition showed better strength properties compared other mixtures. With modified PET aggregate, compressive decreased for about 26%. Similar trends can also observed when using PP HDPE aggregate. However, inclusion does not significantly indicating weak bonding between cement mortar was performed matrix evident through Scanning Electron Microscopy analysis. formation pores higher permeability expected after adding seen porosity results. Furthermore, utilization made from containing fine potential solution management permeable pavement including foot traffic light application.
